NEED TO KNOW FACTS

  • Diet: Micro predator; Should be given live foods such as baby brine shrimp and micro worms.  Offer quality flake food along with the live food.  Will accept frozen food as well.
  • Compatibility: Peaceful Nano community shoaling fish.  Is shy and easily out competed for food with larger tank mates.  Keep in groups of at least 10, but we recommend the larger the group the better.  This will help keep the aggression down between males. Mixing with Danio margaritatus (CPD) could lead to hybridization between the two species.
    • Scientific Name: Celestichthys erythromicron
    • Family: Cyprinidae
    • Region: Lake Inle, Myanmar
    • Size: 0.8 in adult size
    • Recommend Aquarium Size: 10 gallon minimum
    • Water Parameters:
      • pH: 7-8
      • TDS: 125-350ppm
      • Temp: 68-75F (20-24C)

NOTICE FISH MAY NOT 'COLOR UP' UPON ARRIVAL
