  • Region: Greater Sunda Islands
  • Size: 1 in.
  • Aquarium size: 10 minimum
  • Water parameters:
  •               pH: 5-7.5
  •               TDS: 50-200
  •               Temp: 73-82F (23-28C)
  • Diet: Micropredator.  Accepts flake and micro pellets.  For best color, feed live/frozen foods as part of their normal diet.
  • Behavior and compatibility: Peaceful schooling species.  They are best kept in groups of 10 or more as this will keep them less nervous, and keep them from hiding.  They can be kept with other similar sized schooling fish such as tetras, rasboras, and corydoras.  Livebearers and dwarf cichlids make a great tankmates as well.
