  • Region: Laos, Vietnam, Thialand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Borneo, and Sumatra
  • Size: 1.5in.
  • Aquarium size: 5 gal. minimum
  • Water parameters:
  •               pH: 6-7.5
  •               TDS: 50-250
  •               Temp: 76-82F (24-28C)
  • Diet: Micropredator that will accept flake and micro pellets.  Live/frozen food should be kept in the diet such as baby brine shrimp, micro worms, daphnia, or white worms.
  • Behavior and compatibility: Peaceful.  They are best kept in pairs or small groups.  Tank mates should include peaceful fish of similar size.  Species  include smaller tetras, rasboras, or other smaller schooling fish.  They are a bit shy, so keeping planted tanks with hiding places is ideal.
